ABOUT

The National Agrarian Registry, a decentralized organ of the Secretariat of Agrarian, Territorial and Urban Development, is responsible for the control of land tenancy and communal land (ejido), and provides documentary legal certainty by applying the Agrarian Law.

MISSION

In agrarian matters, to take efficient control on land tenancy and other legal concepts of association by the means of avant-garde elements, with trained and involved honest personnel, in order to ensure legal certainty, high-quality and in-time services, and systemized and accessible registry, cadastre and documentary information, for the benefit of the persons under the agrarian Law and their incorporation into the country's whole development.

VISION

RAN is in 2010 an avant-garde, efficient, effective and transparent institution that ensures legal certainty in matters as registry, cadastre and documentation, which provides information about rural land property for the country's whole development.
